Delta Building Automation and its director to pay penalties for attempted bid rigging for National Gallery of Australia tender process

The Federal Court has ordered Delta Building Automation Pty Ltd to pay a penalty of $1.5 million for attempting to rig a tender at the National Gallery of Australia, in proceedings brought by the competition watchdog, the ACCC.

NZ enforcement agency gets tougher, with cartels now facing jail time

New Zealand’s competition enforcement agency has got tougher on the country’s cartels, with cartel conduct - including price fixing, market allocation and bid rigging - now punishable with a term of imprisonment of up to 7 years.
